Aircraft Joystick Control

Overview:

We began providing quality engineered products to the aerospace industry since 2010, it continues as a joystick rod supplier today.  We provide custom engineering components that meet applications for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, domestic and international airlines and heavy truck ground vehicles. Our components cover a wide range of demanding mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies that include cockpit panels, flame arrestors, fuel and anti-gravity valves.

 

Project:

A well-known joystick control company was looking for development assistance for new joysticks, sensors, and solenoids for use on commercial vehicles and industrial equipment.

Problem:

1. The customer wants to reduce the joystick functional damage by strong collision and increase the safety level.
2. Lower the cost of the joystick.

Approach:

1. We assisted the customer to develop new stainless steel material and solve machining difficulties on toughness material.
2. Re-engineering the design and dimension tolerances that helped cost reduction and the ultimate success of the joystick.

Result:

Increase the strengths of the joystick and reduce the overall R & D budget.
