Congratulations to Mr. Vincent Cho for the conferment of Fellowship by the Professional Validation Council of Hong Kong Industries (PVCHK) in recognition of his outstanding achievements in his professional field and contributions to the University, education, and society.
The 2023 Honorary Fellows and Qualified Fellows Certificate Presentation Ceremony cum Gala Dinner was held on 6 September 2023 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Lecture Theatre 1 and Conference Hall.
The PVCHK invited Mr. Sze Chun-fai, JP, Under Secretary for Education of the HKSAR Government, to be the Guest of Honour at the Ceremony. Certificates were presented to the Distinguished Achievement Award, Honorary Fellow (HFPVC), Engineering Fellow (FENG®), Business Administration Fellowships (FMBA®), Fellowships (FPVC) and Associate Fellowships.
In the evening, the Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Dr. CHAN Pak Li, Bernard, JP, officiated at the Gala Dinner, with Ms Chen Chia-ryung, Director of Investment Division, Trade Department, Economic Affairs Bureau, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, as the special guest of honour. The event was also supported by Ms Deng Aiping, Deputy Director General of the Liaison Office’s Kowloon Division, Mr Chen Longxiu, Deputy Director General of the Liaison Office’s Co-ordination Division, Mr Zhou Piyu, General Secretary of the Liaison Office, as well as leaders from various chambers of commerce.
