First priority for ventilator parts

2020-04-01
Since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak in recent months, many countries, regional and local governments already have, or may soon implement, certain requirements, such as general shutdowns, restricted travel, localized quarantines or mandated health screenings.
Huge demand for ventilator motor and valve parts
Coronavirus has been found to attack patient’s respiratory systems, making it difficult to breathe, and for those who already suffer from respiratory problems, this symptom could be life-threatening. As the COVID-19 global pandemic spreads throughout the world, ventilator companies have tried to ramp up their production in an attempt to help supply countries with this life-saving device. Unfortunately, the pandemic is disrupting the transport and supply of crucial ventilator parts such as hoses, valves, motors and electronics. Boly has been producing anesthesia delivery parts and ventilator flow control valve components for over 20 years. We recognize the important role we play in the supply chain in the medical industry.
Support from global supply chains
One of the most important factors in terms of ramping up ventilator production is having access to the specific parts manufacturers need to make the machines. Ventilator companies are looking for new sources of essential parts and determine how quickly they can receive shipments which need to be properly transported using protective packages. Boly received many inquiries from USA and Europe's motor and valve manufacturers who asked for components for ventilators and anesthetic delivery systems that can be retrofitted to serve as ventilators. We have had to drastically increase the production of these parts for saving more lives.
Continues service and support
While this is an evolving situation, we put medical components as a priority production. We currently do not anticipate any significant interruptions or delays to our customer service, support, and deliveries as one of the critical component suppliers. Through our stable production and on-time delivery, we had the capacity to be the second source for ventilator manufacturers and N95 mask factories.

We will work together in these challenging circumstances to best serve our customers.
